Located at the main junction of Hakuba Happo resort, this 5-story, 22-room hotel will undergo retrofitting. The client, an outdoor ski goods company, hopes that the hotel serves as a hub for the four pillars of: recreation, refuge, hospitality, and community. The ground floor will transform into an open reception space, welcoming both outside guests and hotel guests to socialize. The second floor will feature five compact rooms along with a coworking hub space, the first of its kind in Happo, Hakuba. The upper floor will be dedicated to wellness by reutilizing the existing onsen, and introducing new ammenities.
